Performing is exhilarating for me, but teaching others to move, tell stories and express themselves using movement and music is powerful. I have taught others from ages 2 to 72 across the globe from New York, Chicago, LA, and Florida to Italy. In Los Angeles, I have been an instructor in the Dance Department at American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and The Los Angeles Ballet Academy. I have taught nationally at Joe Lanteri’s NYCDA, assisting Wayne Cilento and Andy Blankenbuehler. My students become family to me, and I swear I end up learning more from them than they do from me. I absolutely believe teaching young dancers to grow as artists is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had.
